Tuning & Spying Permissions
 TUNING Sunday can use the power of Harmony to "tune" others. This process allows him to greatly influence someone's mind. It can be used in a healing fashion to soothe distressed people. It can be used defensively to alter other people's perception or make them forget they ever saw him. It can also be used as an attack to slowly unravel someone's sanity or force them to tell the truth. Not telling the truth when tuned turns the Harmonic consecration into a trial that will kill the person if they fail. In extreme circumstances, Sunday can hold the minds of others prisoner within his own consciousness. According to the Masked Fools, aggressive tuning can even rob someone of all sentience, reducing them to a mindless husk. SPYING Sunday is likely to recruit other characters to serve as spies for him, though he may lie about his motives. He wants to know what people are doing out of paranoia and a need to feel some control over his environment. He may use what he learns against you, anyway, however. He is vicious and cruel when cornered. CAN SUNDAY TUNE YOUR CHARACTER?: I want him to, but ICly he would probably be impervious otherwise. Cid is very resistant to psychic attacks.
IF "YES" IS THERE ANYTHING YOU WOULD LIKE TO EXPLORE THROUGH TUNING?: Cid has a bunch of hang-ups and is generally self-loathing and sad about many circumstances. He’s a (functional) alcoholic. He has been succumbing to too dire of introversion lately plus several interpersonal issues. Maybe Sunday can get him to Chill. Or force therapy on him.
WOULD YOU LIKE YOUR CHARACTER TO SPY FOR SUNDAY?: Unknowingly, sure! Cid actually loves to gossip, so… That’s a framing for that to happen. And this should absolutely be played out for entertainment value.
CAN SUNDAY SPY ON YOU?: Yes
IF YES, WHAT WOULD HE LEARN?: Cid talks to a lot of people. He keeps tabs on many. He has a routine where he checks on the landscape frequently. He lives in Stonhyrr, he drinks a lot, he seems to like the trolley. He is very promiscuous. He’s interested in technology, is fond of kids and animals. He goes to the hospital for treatments every couple weeks. He has an electric horse steed, but he still seems to prefer to walk.
ANYTHING ELSE?: Cid has an excellent sense of judgement. He would either be hard or impossible to tune, catch onto the fact that this is happening, or have a bad feeling about it all the same, even if Sunday was doing it in a positive manner. But I’m happy to find a way for Sunday to get his claws into him.

WOULD YOU LIKE YOUR CHARACTER TO SPY FOR SUNDAY?: Unknowingly, absolutely! Dwayne tends to be fairly oblivious and likes to talk a lot, so it shouldn't be too hard
CAN SUNDAY SPY ON YOU?: Sure
IF YES, WHAT WOULD HE LEARN?: He regularly turns into a wolfman and goes running through the woods, frequently catching deer or other animals to eat. He typically goes on these hunts with Kirk, although seeing Kirk on these hunts would be up to Kirk's player. He also spends a lot of time doing various sports, playing various games, and also regularly goes on doggie playdates with Krypto while he's in his wolfman form. He enjoys chewing on bones.
ANYTHING ELSE?: Dwayne has very low wisdom. He would be extremely easy to tune.

I think we can get something going with these two. Sunday could probably rope him into shenanigans if they get talking. Luckily, Sunny is ALSO an enthusiastic yapper, so that shouldn't be hard.

IF "YES" IS THERE ANYTHING YOU WOULD LIKE TO EXPLORE THROUGH TUNING?: We talked about this a little bit, but I think it would be interesting for both characters if we explored Sunday using his Tuning to make Clea more...docile. She's got authority issues, is highly motivated by self-interest, has flexible morals and abuses power...basically the exact sort of person that a well-meaning authoritarian sort would think should be restrained for the greater good. (Clea thinks ACAB because cops keep you from exacting your blood feud revenge all over the city). She's also mind whammied people herself and I'm a sucker for characters being on the receiving end of their own nonsense.

CAN SUNDAY SPY ON YOU?: Yes!
IF YES, WHAT WOULD HE LEARN?: Clea lives at the Louvre and is very protective of everything in the museum, she drinks a concerning amount of wine, is adept at several forms of art (painting, sculpture, singing, and photography), is learning how to fight and seems to pick it up eerily quickly with what seems like little practice, the people she's closest to in Etraya seem to be Sophie and Clive, she can talk to animals and spends a fair amount of time with the snakes but is not a fan of the songbirds, and she's doing something weird in the Catacombs with some sort of magic that she's not telling anyone about.
ANYTHING ELSE?: Okay, so I see it as Clea is decently easy to Tune (she's got a pretty strong will but also just seems like a standard issue human so...), but she would eventually figure out what's going on since she's been on the giving side of mind whammy.

Sunday loves songbirds, art, and singing, though he doesn't sing himself much. Anymore. Where people can hear him.

CAN SUNDAY TUNE YOUR CHARACTER?: Yes
IF "YES" IS THERE ANYTHING YOU WOULD LIKE TO EXPLORE THROUGH TUNING?: Yang Cheng's mentally unstable so Sunday is welcome to relieve/provoke/play around as he likes.
- Trust Value is probably the biggest issue. When he believes he's about to go back to zero, or lose his powers, he breaks down. Since you can touch your wrist to see your value, it's likely easy to manipulate. TL;DR is his parents were killed when he was 6, he grew up neglected in an orphanage, and from age 6-22 he had zero trust and was treated badly by pretty much everyone on all levels of society, so he has an insanely negative mental state, and only his strong love of and desire to be a hero was a positive force in his development.
- He harbours endless guilt over his friend Shang Chao's death, because when his crush called out Shang Chao's name, he had a pang of jealousy that momentarily cut out his powers and stopped him from reaching the assassin or Shang Chao before the gun was fired. Despite their friendship, Shang Chao always set off his inferiority complex by existing.
He vowed to never hesitate again after Shang Chao's death, which made his already terrible decision-making worse.
- He views E-Soul as everything good about himself and Yang Cheng as everything worthless, so while him never taking off his mask is like a side effect of having such a high trust value, it's also because the last thing he wants to be is Yang Cheng.
-The only reason he's alive is because of his dream to be like his idol, the original E-Soul, who also happened to save him when he was 6 and his parents were gunned down in the streets. However, he was manipulated into believing E-Soul was responsible for Shang Chao's death and killed him in a duel. This was arranged by his boss, Yan Mo/'Uncle Rock', in order to further warp his mental state and put him in E-Soul's place as his easily controlled tool, which Yang Cheng absolutely is.
- He's murdered one hero, Moon, and attempted to kill two other heroes, Ghostblade and Little Johnny on Rock's orders.
- Despite all that, he still wants to be and can be genuinely heroic. He's still brave and protects the public, and holds a deep sense of responsibility for their welfare.
He's honestly such a mess of insecurities, self-hatred, grief, guilt and trauma that it's a minefield in his head, lol.
WOULD YOU LIKE YOUR CHARACTER TO SPY FOR SUNDAY?: No.1, baby ;)
CAN SUNDAY SPY ON YOU?: Yes
IF YES, WHAT WOULD HE LEARN?: E-Soul never takes off his mask. He does a mix of exploration and training to stay in prime shape. There's no perceivable limit to use of his powers. He's also a capable electronics/tech engineer. He's focused on the overall mission and doesn't really seem to be indulging in any extraneous hobbies, though he's making an effort to integrate and pick up some missing skills.

He'd definitely pick up on her artistic nature and that it's very genuine: Clea adores art in all its forms and takes it extremely seriously, including in her own work. She's constantly pushing herself to create new, interesting and better things.
Which could potentially add in to the reasons for Tuning: She could be such an asset to society if she were just...sanded down a little! For the greater good, you know.
The Louvre is open to people as long as they're respectful, and Clea is like always there.

CAN SUNDAY TUNE YOUR CHARACTER?: he would be capable of it, but between Zoro's own instincts and his haki he'll catch on if it gets too aggressive.
IF "YES" IS THERE ANYTHING YOU WOULD LIKE TO EXPLORE THROUGH TUNING?: totally down for healing, calming him down if a situation calls for it, and yes to the blind spot/going invisible and getting away. Anything more severe, should the opportunity arise, let's discuss it before going ham.

CAN SUNDAY SPY ON YOU?: sure!
IF YES, WHAT WOULD HE LEARN?: probably nothing of interest but again, if game opportunities come up and Zoro is doing things in a plot that he's trying to keep secret, I'd be down if Sunday still sniffed it out. He spars a lot and stays physically active, and unintentionally ends up in all the wrong places all the time thanks to his broken compass, have fun being all "why is he here? Oh he's just lost. Again."
ANYTHING ELSE?: I've figured out that for the best of all worlds, Zoro's haki would just passively register Sunday as having a Power, but not what it is, how it works, anything. If tuning is happening he probably won't catch on unless it gets super duper serious and dangerous - at that point he can't mentally counter shit but he has three swords.
