Tuning & Spying Permissions

TUNING Sunday can use the power of Harmony to "tune" others. This process allows him to greatly influence someone's mind. It can be used in a healing fashion to soothe distressed people. It can be used defensively to alter other people's perception or make them forget they ever saw him. It can also be used as an attack to slowly unravel someone's sanity or force them to tell the truth. Not telling the truth when tuned turns the Harmonic consecration into a trial that will kill the person if they fail. In extreme circumstances, Sunday can hold the minds of others prisoner within his own consciousness. According to the Masked Fools, aggressive tuning can even rob someone of all sentience, reducing them to a mindless husk. Which is all to say, it does a lot, and its limits are not well defined in canon. If it has to do with the mind, tuning can do it. Sunday is canonically very liberal about his use of tuning. He does it with no regard for the boundaries of others, as it's an ability he's had his whole life. In RP, however, this ability is entirely opt-in only. SPYING Sunday is likely to recruit other characters to serve as spies for him, though he may lie about his motives. He wants to know what people are doing out of paranoia and a need to feel some control over his environment. He may use what he learns against you, anyway, however. He is vicious and cruel when cornered. Spying and being spied on are also entirely opt-in only. IF "YES" IS THERE ANYTHING YOU WOULD LIKE TO EXPLORE THROUGH TUNING?: Yang Cheng's mentally unstable so Sunday is welcome to relieve/provoke/play around as he likes.

- Trust Value is probably the biggest issue. When he believes he's about to go back to zero, or lose his powers, he breaks down. Since you can touch your wrist to see your value, it's likely easy to manipulate. TL;DR is his parents were killed when he was 6, he grew up neglected in an orphanage, and from age 6-22 he had zero trust and was treated badly by pretty much everyone on all levels of society, so he has an insanely negative mental state, and only his strong love of and desire to be a hero was a positive force in his development.
- He harbours endless guilt over his friend Shang Chao's death, because when his crush called out Shang Chao's name, he had a pang of jealousy that momentarily cut out his powers and stopped him from reaching the assassin or Shang Chao before the gun was fired. Despite their friendship, Shang Chao always set off his inferiority complex by existing.
He vowed to never hesitate again after Shang Chao's death, which made his already terrible decision-making worse.
- He views E-Soul as everything good about himself and Yang Cheng as everything worthless, so while him never taking off his mask is like a side effect of having such a high trust value, it's also because the last thing he wants to be is Yang Cheng.
-The only reason he's alive is because of his dream to be like his idol, the original E-Soul, who also happened to save him when he was 6 and his parents were gunned down in the streets. However, he was manipulated into believing E-Soul was responsible for Shang Chao's death and killed him in a duel. This was arranged by his boss, Yan Mo/'Uncle Rock', in order to further warp his mental state and put him in E-Soul's place as his easily controlled tool, which Yang Cheng absolutely is.
- He's murdered one hero, Moon, and attempted to kill two other heroes, Ghostblade and Little Johnny on Rock's orders.
- Despite all that, he still wants to be and can be genuinely heroic. He's still brave and protects the public, and holds a deep sense of responsibility for their welfare.

He's honestly such a mess of insecurities, self-hatred, grief, guilt and trauma that it's a minefield in his head, lol.

IF YES, WHAT WOULD HE LEARN?: E-Soul never takes off his mask. He does a mix of exploration and training to stay in prime shape. There's no perceivable limit to use of his powers. He's also a capable electronics/tech engineer. He's focused on the overall mission and doesn't really seem to be indulging in any extraneous hobbies, though he's making an effort to integrate and pick up some missing skills.
